Mariah Idrissi is a Filmmaker and Creative Consultant. She became recognised as the world’s first hijab wearing model in 2015 when featuring in a global campaign for H&M. In 2016, she spoke at TEDxTeen on ‘Changing the Face of Fashion’. Mariah won the ‘Young Achiever’ award at the Arabian Business Awards in 2019 and ‘Best Female Influencer’ award at the Muslim Women Awards in 2021.
Mariah produced and presented a short documentary called ‘Britain’s First Mosque’. She’s co-written episodes for an online skit series called ‘The Halalians’ which has accumulated over two million views online. She is passionate and experienced in areas around history, culture, fashion and religion.
